Mike Ogurkis is Econoco’s Senior Director of Logistics, responsible for managing our primary distribution center in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania. Mike has led the Econoco staff through the pandemic, following basic CDC guidelines and closely adhering to Governor Tom Wolf’s mandates for operating a wholesale distribution business in the state of PA. Management and staff at Econoco in addition to their customers owe Mike and his key staff a debt of gratitude for operating continuously through dangerous and difficult times this year.
Proudly working for Econoco since 2007, Mike previously served as Director of Operations after 10 years of managing US Foodservice and D.W. Richards’ packaging and shipping departments in Northeastern PA. Mike and his wife Lorine are co-founders of Brandon’s Forever Home, a 501C-3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children in foster care and as an advocate for adoptive homes. He is also the recipient of the 2018 Bloomsburg University Legacy of Leadership Award for his tireless dedication to children in foster care. Mike and Lorine, a local attorney, live in Conyngham, PA and have five children.
We are very proud to have Mike on our leadership team. He is indicative of the type of person that fits Econoco’s core values perfectly.
