Paid Time Off (PTO)

Econoco employees start with fifteen (15) days of PTO prorated, immediately upon their date of hire. PTO under this policy may be used for any purpose, including vacation, personal leave, and for any of the following qualifying reasons under the New York Paid Sick Leave Law (referred to herein as “PSL”).

Do The Right Thing PTO

Econoco’s DTRT-PTO Policy applies to our full-time outside sales representatives and NY and PA office employees who have celebrated their 10-year anniversary with us. The DTRT-PTO Policy doesn’t have a set amount of time that its eligible employees and outside sales representatives can take off during a calendar year.

Paid Holidays

Econoco observes eight to ten paid holidays each year with one of those days to use as you choose- we call this a floating Holiday.

401k Retirement Plan

Econoco sponsors a 401(k) Savings which is available to all employees who have met the eligibility requirements and have completed 1 month of service. Econoco matches 25% up to 4% of your contributions, and there is no vesting schedule – all funds are yours from day 1.

Medical

Eligible employees have the option to participate in the Medical on a contributory basis the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. Econoco pays a portion of the premium. Employees are provided individual and family coverage for a posted employee contribution.

Dental

Eligible employees have the option to participate in the Dental Plan on a contributory basis the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. Eligible employees are provided individual and family coverage for a posted employee contribution.

Vision

Eligible employees have the option to participate in the Vision Plan on a contributory basis the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. Eligible employees are provided individual and family coverage for a posted employee contribution.

Life Insurance

Eligible employees who are enrolled in Econoco’s Medical coverage are automatically enrolled in a group term life insurance program. Econoco pays the premium for this program. Employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance for themselves or dependents.

Supplemental Care

Econoco offers the opportunity for employees to purchase additional insurances through Aflac for:

  • Short term disability
  • Accident Insurance
  • Cancer Insurance
  • Family Life Insurance
  • Hospital Insurance

Econoco will use just about any excuse to celebrate! Recent celebration perks have been ice cream parties for birthdays, holiday hams / turkeys, pizza parties to mark “workaversaries”, BBQ boxes for 4th of July, and more!
